New Yorkers fight to preserve a statue-filled garden in the heart of Manhattan

New York, Sep 14 (EFE) - A group of New Yorkers - including actor Robert De Niro, director Martin Scorsese and singer Patti Smith - are fighting to preserve a statue-filled garden in the heart of Manhattan. The area could soon be evacuated to become a hundred affordable apartments to combat the city's housing crisis.
