Thousands of devotees celebrate Ganesh's birthday in Mumbai

Mumbai (India), Sep 17 (EFE/EPA) - Thousands of Indian devotees participated Tuesday in the Ganesh Chaturthi festival, on the birthday of that deity, and is celebrated throughout India for ten days.

During the festival, representations of Ganesh are worshipped in hundreds of makeshift tents before being immersed in water.
