SEVILLE, Apr 12 (EFE).— A 1,500-year-old cardón cactus in Seville, measuring 15 metres and weighing 18 tonnes, is facing deterioration decades after being gifted for Expo 92.The plant, originally a gift from Mexico, is reportedly in poor condition partly due to urban changes around its location.A heritage group has called for urgent action to preserve the cactus and prevent its loss.
