Rockets and gunfire in Beirut mark start of ceasefire with Israel

Beirut, Apr 16 (EFE).– Rockets and gunfire echoed early Friday in Beirut and its suburbs to celebrate the entry into force of a ten-day ceasefire with Israel, expected to at least temporarily halt attacks that have left nearly 2,200 people dead in recent weeks.
