Srinagar, India, Sep 17 (EFE/EPA).- Hundreds of devout Muslims gathered on Tuesday at the Hazratbal shrine in Srinagar, the summer capital of Indian Kashmir, to celebrate Eid-e-Milad-u-Nabi, the birthday of Prophet Muhammad (BPD). The Hazratbal shrine, which houses a relic believed to be a hair from Prophet Muhammad's beard, was the centre of the celebrations. The annual gathering at the Hazratbal shrine is one of the most important religious events in Indian Kashmir.
