French Minister of Economy Armand promises to reduce spending

Paris, Sep 22 (EFE/EPA).- The new French Minister of Economy, Antoine Armand, does not rule out selectively increasing certain taxes, considering the current state of public finances, and promises to reduce spending.

In an interview published on Sunday by Le Journal du Dimanche, Armand explained that excluding "certain exceptional and selective taxes from the outset would not be responsible" under current conditions. (Camera: TERESA SUAREZ).
