Rally against police over film director's death
Seoul (Korea, Republic Of), 15/04/2026.- A member of the civic group Korean Parents Network for People with Disabilities performs a rite of condolence with chrysanthemums in front of the National Police Agency's headquarters in Seoul, South Korea, 15 April 2026. Protesters gathered to demand a transparent reinvestigation into the death of indie film director Kim Chang-min, who passed away in October 2025. While his death was initially attributed to a cerebral hemorrhage, Kim’s bereaved family has recently come forward with evidence alleging that the director died from an assault.
