Philippines, US hold joint military exercises north of Manila
LAUR (Philippines), 16/04/2026.- US Army officers talk beside an M142 High Mobility Artillery Rocket System (HIMARS) launcher during joint military exercises between the Philippines and the US, dubbed 'Salaknib 2026,' at Fort Magsaysay military camp in Nueva Ecija province, Philippines, 16 April 2026. The Salaknib exercises are aimed at enhancing interoperability between army units and strengthening combined arms operations in land-dominated environments.
