Local minibus unions launch transport strike in Philippines
QUEZON CITY (Philippines), 15/04/2026.- Commuters approach to ride a jeepney, or local minibus, along a main thoroughfare in Quezon City, Metro Manila, Philippines, 15 April 2026. Two local jeepney, or minibus, unions launched a three-day transport strike on 15 April to call for a rollback in fuel prices and the scrapping of excise and value-added taxes on petroleum products.
