GARRUCHA (ALMERÍA), 04/11/1979.- El rey Juan Carlos y el príncipe Felipe presencian un asalto anfibio en la playa almeriense de La Garrucha, durante las maniobras militares conjuntas hispano-norteamericanas "Crisex 79". Les acompañan, entre otras personalidades, el vicepresidente del Gobierno para la Defensa y la Seguridad, teniente general Gutiérrez Mellado (5ªi); el ministro de Defensa, Agustín Rodríguez Sahagún (4º i); el embajador de los Estados Unidos en España, Terence Todman (2º i); el teniente general Ignacio Alfaro (3º d), y el general estadounidense John Galvin, comandante supremo de las fuerzas de la OTAN en Europa.
