Bucharest (Romania), 14/04/2026.- Calin Georgescu (C), the independent candidate who won the first round of Romania’s annulled presidential election, makes a media statement after a hearing at the headquarters of the High Court of Cassation and Justice (ICCJ) in Bucharest, Romania, 14 April 2026. Georgescu appeared at the hearing in a case in which he is accused of complicity in attempted actions against the constitutional order, described as a coup attempt, and the repeated dissemination of false information.
