Trump slams Pope Leo again over Iran war

Washington, D.C, Apr 14 (EFE).- US President Donald Trump again criticized Pope Leo XIV over the Iran war on Tuesday night, claiming that the Persian country had killed at least 42,000 "innocent" protesters.

"Will someone please tell Pope Leo that Iran has killed at least 42,000 innocent, completely unarmed, protesters in the last two months, and that for Iran to have a Nuclear Bomb is absolutely unacceptable," Trump wrote on Truth Social.

The president, who has been in a clash with Leo XIV since Monday over the war in Iran and the Middle East, end the post by saying that "AMERICA IS BACK." (Camera: HANDOUT).
