Sufi devotional turns to celebrate the birth of the prophet in Egypt | Video

Cairo (Egypt), Sep 14 (EFE).- Sufi songs and dances captured the attention of all the locals in the small town of Al Baragel, west of Cairo, on the occasion of the celebration early Saturday morning of "Maulid", the anniversary of the birth of the prophet Muhammad and which a group of devotees transformed into a ritual of spinning around themselves and sacred voices full of mysticism.

1.- "It is a joy for the town and for the people. It makes me happy to see people happy. I always organize this night, every year, in the month of Rabie el Awal (third month of the lunar calendar) to celebrate the birth of the prophet. Every Muslim must celebrate the anniversary of his birth because he is the model that we must follow and he is our intercessor."
