Rapid decline in the flow of the Negro River heralds unprecedented drought in Manaus

Sao Paulo, Sep 18 (EFE).- Manaus, the largest city in the Brazilian Amazon, is experiencing a severe drought for the second consecutive year, reflected in the constant decrease in the flow of the Negro River and the threat of fires that are multiplying in the region.
