Queen Sofia is interested in the future of the wild cat with a plan led by the CSIC

Palencia, Sep 16 (EFE).- Queen Sofia has checked in the Palentina Mountain the progress of the research project on the conservation of the wild cat in the Iberian Peninsula, which is being carried out by the Higher Centre for Scientific Research (CSIC) through the Doñana Biological Station.

The visit began at the Parador Nacional in Cervera de Pisuerga (Palencia), where the Queen Emeritus received a brief explanation of the state of the research from Francisco Palomares, the person in charge of the project that will continue until 2028.
