Tehran (Iran), Sep 21 (EFE) - Iran's armed forces held military parades across the country on Saturday and presented a new long-range missile and several drones, amid escalation in the Middle East region following Israeli attacks on Lebanon that have left 37 dead and more than 3,000 wounded.

The parades have been held on the occasion of the start of the so-called 'Sacred Defense Week', which commemorates the day Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussein's regime launched a war against Iran between 1980 and 1988, IRNA agency reported.
