Lufthansa pilots go on strike in Germany
Frankfurt, Germany, Apr 13 (EFE).- The German pilots' union Vereinigung Cockpit (VC) called on its members at the Lufthansa Group to go on strike on Monday and Tuesday, three days after a strike by cabin crew forced the German group to cancel hundreds of flights.The dispute at Lufthansa, Lufthansa Cargo, and Eurowings concerns supplementary retirement pensions, which the union is demanding be improved, while at Lufthansa CityLine, workers are demanding a new collective agreement with wage increases.CAMERA: RONALD WITTEK.FOOTAGE OF FRANKFURT AIRPORT.
