Hope is reborn: new scalesia cordata trees found in Galapagos Islands

Galapagos Islands (Ecuador), Sep 20 (EFE).- The discovery of two new populations of the scalesia cordata on Isabela Island, the largest of the Galapagos Islands archipelago (Ecuador), has sparked hope among scientists, who are constantly searching for more of these endangered trees in the face of the drastic reduction of their natural habitat.
