GERMANY ELECTIONS

Fears of a Social Democrat loss dominate in the Brandenburg capital of Potsdam

Potsdam (Germany), Sep 22 (EFE) - The fear of losing the Brandenburg government the Social Democrats, who are playing the continuity of Prime Minister Dietmar Woidke, before the advance of the far right, dominated Sunday among voters who went to vote in the Chamber of Commerce and Industry (IHK) of Potsdam, the capital of the state surrounding Berlin.

Among the early voters, the candidate of the Social Democratic Party of Germany (SPD) seemed to be the best option, although some opted for other parties, whether from the coalition led by the Social Democratic leader, the opposition or the newly-emerged left-wing Sahra Wagenknecht Alliance (BSW).
