Last day of voting in Russia's municipal elections

Moscow (Russia), Sep 8 (EFE/EPA).- The leader of the Liberal Democratic Party of Russia (LDPR), Leonid Slutsky, voted Sunday at a polling station in Moscow, accompanied by the grandson of former French President Charles de Gaulle, Pierre de Gaulle.

Russians are voting in an election that will elect deputies and elected officials in 83 regions in polls being held from September 6 to 8 across the country.
