"El alcalde de Zalamea" by Alonso de Santos, delves into the dignity of the human being

Madrid, Sep 18 (EFE).- "El alcalde de Zalamea" (The Mayor of Zalamea), by Calderón de la Barca, a play that addresses the abuse of power, honesty, the fight against inequality and injustice, will premiere next Thursday at the Teatro del Canal under the direction of José Luis Alonso de Santos, in a version that delves into the dignity of the human being.
