AEMET issues pre-alert for intense calima in Lanzarote
Lanzarote (Spain), Apr 17 (EFE).– Spain’s State Meteorological Agency (AEMET) forecast calima conditions for this Friday in the Canary Islands, mainly affecting mid-altitude and highland areas, along with rising maximum temperatures and moderate northeast winds along the coasts, stronger in the southeast and northwest, where locally very strong gusts are possible.Camera: Adriel Perdomo.Footage of calima affecting the municipalities of Haría, Teguise, and Arrecife on the island of Lanzarote, expected to last throughout the weekend.
