London, Apr 8 (EFE).- British Prime Minister Keir Starmer on Wednesday expressed satisfaction and “relief” over the ceasefire agreed overnight between the United States and Iran to halt the conflict for two weeks and reopen the Strait of Hormuz.“I welcome the ceasefire agreement reached last night, which will provide a moment of relief for the region and the world,” Starmer wrote on his X account before traveling to the Persian Gulf to assess diplomatic efforts to sustain the truce.
