Sanggau, Indonesia, Apr 17 (EFE).- Indonesian authorities said Friday they had recovered the bodies of eight people after a helicopter crashed the previous day on the island of Borneo, in the western part of the Asian archipelago. The aircraft was carrying two crew members and six passengers. The helicopter, an Airbus H130, lost contact with air traffic control at 8:39 a.m. local time Thursday (1:39 a.m. GMT). Five minutes after takeoff, it disappeared from radar and failed to establish radio communication, said Mohammad Syaffi, head of Indonesia’s National Disaster Management Agency, or BNPB.
