KUMAMOTO (Japan), 14/04/2026.- The undergoing restoration of Kumamoto Castle following the 2016 Kumamoto earthquakes in Kumamoto, Kumamoto prefecture, southwestern Japan, 09 March 2026 (issued 14 April 2026). Japan is commemorating the 10th anniversary since the foreshock of the 2016 Kumamoto earthquakes, the first quake in the series that left 278 people dead.
