ARREDONDO (SANTANDER), 08/05/1959.- Caída de Salvador Botella, del equipo Faema-España, en la subida a las Alisas, durante la decimoquinta etapa de la Vuelta Ciclista a España, disputada hoy entre Vitoria y Santander con un recorrido de 230 kilómetros, en la que se ha impuesto el español Julio San Emeterio. Por segundo día consecutivo, Antonio Suarez mantiene el maillot amarillo.
